Ever noticed – when you’re thinking about buying a new car, and you have your heart set on a particular model – you start seeing THAT care everywhere?
A few days ago, you were barely even aware that it exists.
Now, you see them everywhere you go. Not only that, but you start to see it advertised in magazines, on billboards, even on the side of buses.
I’m sure you’ve noticed this too.
Here’s the thing, though:
Although it might seem hard to believe, nothing in the outside world changed. Those cars were always there and so were those ads. What’s changed is that they’re now showing up on your radar – whereas before they were invisible.
Career opportunities are just like these cars.
It might not seem like it sometimes, but, right now, you’re surrounded by opportunities to land your dream job, move into a new field or industry, get a promotion, or show your boss that you deserve a raise.
It’s just ~90% of these opportunities don’t show up on your radar.
Why not?
The explanation is simple, but it might sound a little “woo woo”.
It’s like this: Our minds, similar to TVs, are tuned to a certain frequency, and that frequency determines what kind of things we notice in our day-to-day life. And if you “change the station” so that you’re now tuned into prosperity, new opportunities to get promoted, develop your career, and increase your income start appearing “out of the blue”, opportunities you didn’t notice before.
Laura Leigh Clarke – my physicist friend I told you about yesterday – she calls this a “prosperity shift”. And it’s what allowed her to change her life.
Remember what it’s like to start seeing THAT car everywhere you look?
Well, imagine if opportunities for promotions, pay raises, career changes, or moving into your dream job started appearing everywhere in the same way.
