Interview Questions: What is the Worst Feedback You’ve Received?

2 min read · By admin · March 23, 2026

Worst Feedback You ReceivedWhile being a flight attendant is commonly mistaken as an easy job or a glamorous occupation, people need to start realizing that it’s not. Sure, they get to see different countries and meet many kinds of people, but that doesn’t mean that they have the easiest job in the world.

Flight attendants are expected to be patient, caring, and understanding. They can be described as nurses on planes who attend to every passenger’s needs. Along with the way they deliver and implement safety reminders, their attitudes and work ethic are also being watched. Clients (passengers) tend to notice the flight attendant’s every move and every word. This is where the passengers’ feedback enters into the picture.

When you’re in the process of applying for a job as a flight attendant, practicing interview questions can make you feel less anxious. Many interviewers will ask basic questions, while others have their special way of getting answers to their burning questions. One of these questions could be: What is the worst feedback you’ve received?

Why would they ask about this? It’s simply because the interviewer wants to know if you’re open to criticism. The question aims to determine whether you can handle criticism well and use it as tool to improve yourself.

To answer this question, here are some tips you might consider:

1. Admit the areas that are in need of improvement.

Don’t be afraid to acknowledge your mistakes and recognize your faults. After all, everybody needs improvement; nobody is perfect. You just have to be strong enough to admit what you need to work on.

However, when you tell this to your interviewer, be sure to express how much you’re willing to improve in these areas. Also, don’t make it sound too negative.

2. Share an action plan.

Tell the interviewer how you plan to improve. By doing this, you’re demonstrating your ability to take criticism well. Don’t just sit around and do nothing; you need to have an action plan in order to do better.

3. Highlight your open-mindedness.

Your answer should reflect your open-mindedness. The interviewer’s objective is to see how well you handle criticism, so show him what he’s looking for. Being able to take criticism in a calm and positive manner is an indication that you are an open-minded individual.

If you familiarize yourself with these tips, this can help you to respond in a very calm and confident manner. It is this type of preparation that will make the interviewer’s questions much easier to deal with.
